With just over 100 days until the July 16 release of JK Rowling's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, U.S. publisher Scholastic is preparing a multimillion dollar marketing blitz
to stir up excitement.
At the 50 day mark on May 27, Scholastic will ship 40,000 of these countdown clock standees (334KB JPG image) to bookstores.
The base theme message "Who Is The Half-Blood Prince?" will appear on airplane video screens, electronic billboards, and online. The New York Times on July 10 will run a crossword puzzle dedicated to the book. Fans will also receive lightning-bolt scars at midnight with their books.

Wow, only 100 days, that's not that much when u think about it. I hope they do that in Australia, i'd love to see that kind of hype. Can't wait for it.

I'm with brainiactor89 THE POSTER IS TELLIING US SOMETHING. I don't think it is Ginny, her features are to fine and she seems blurred like a memory, hence I think it is Lilly. We do know that something big will be revealed about Lilly. The other two I’m undecided about it might be Ron and Hermione but based on passed drawings they look more like Molly and Arthur Weasley however it might just be a grown up version of Ron and Hermione, they are in their 6th year now. In any case the dark mark does look like it is over them (does this mean good bye?) and Ron/Arthur has a very determined look on his face like he wants to fight or something.
