Now that the filming of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is over some of the actors will be attending conventions in the U.S. and Australia in the upcoming months.
Starting in April, Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan) will be appearing at the Armageddon
fantasy/sci-fi expo New Zealand and the Supernova
Pop Culture Expo in Brisbane, Australia.
In August Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) and Murray will be attending CauldronCon
in Massachusetts. The stars will be joined by a surprise Harry Potter star to sign autographs and participate in Q&A sessions.
Go to CauldronCon to see if you can guess who the Harry Potter mystery guest will be.

I just wish they'd all come down here to sunny southern California and pay us a visit, I would love to go to one of those conventions. You'd think we'd have something like that here, but we don't.

This is fun! says:
Ok, maybe I'm getting old and cheap, but I am getting really tired of conventions around here charging lots of money for convention admissions and then charging extra for autographs. darrrrkwind I agree with you, and I wonder too, who gets the money. I remember when convention admissions were $40 for the weekend and the only things you had to do to get an autograph was stand in a long line. In addition, for that money, the stars who attended the cons were the major stars, not the supporting cast. (Before anyone yells at me, I DO think of John Rhys Davies as a major character in LOTR, and I love Neville and the Weasley twins.)
I just needed to get that off my chest.
CauldronCon does sound fun so I hope whoever goes has a great time. I haven't been to a convention in years and would like to go to one again.

Mystery guest = Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy to those who don't know anything).
I saw the side of his hair - a little blonde bit was poking out.

I'm so stupid. Sorry about the last post. I just looked again at the pictures and saw that the mystery guests from each film (if you understand me) had the same little bit of hair.
Sorry again, I don't think it'll be Tom Felton though there's always a chance.

Well, I wheeled myself over to CauldronCon and found nothing even similar to a clue for who might be the mystery actor! On both the LotR and the GoF celebrities and their roles they depicted a mystery character in a devil-shaped profile. Hmmmm...when I saw the first one I imagined that the LotR character might be the actor who played Sauruman...but when I saw the same picture for GoF?! Nope...no clues were offered there.

Sounds exciting! Seems strange to me that there isn't a British event listed, as JKR and all the stars are British, but I'm sure there'll be something at some point. One in Yorkshire would be very much appreciated...or in Oxford, if it was during term time...
