Rupert Grint, Ron from the Harry Potter movies is reportedly
to star Driving Lessons with Julie Walters and Laura Linney. Filming is scheduled to start filming next month in London and Edinburgh.
About the movie:
The story centers on a shy vicars' son (Grint) with an overprotective mother whose world changes when he meets a retired actress.

However, I will say that i am happy that Rupert is trying to break out of the HP mold that he has been cast into. I hope he'll be able to get some good roles that he'll like, while trying not to be character casted into roles that are similar to a 'Ron Weasley'.

That is awesome. I always thought he was the superior actor out of the three. This is going to be cool for him. He can partake in something that is not HP related. I just hope the movie has a good plot. He deserves the best. And I hope we don't lose him as Ron for HP. That would totally suck.

No offence to the directors and casting agents for this movie but Rupert is hardly the best child actor - he must really look the part, i can't see why else they would hire him! Sorry i just think he's a dreadgul actor, with all those over the top facial expressions :-S
