Rupert Grint, Ron from the Harry Potter movies is reportedly
to star Driving Lessons with Julie Walters and Laura Linney. Filming is scheduled to start filming next month in London and Edinburgh.
About the movie:
The story centers on a shy vicars' son (Grint) with an overprotective mother whose world changes when he meets a retired actress.

I wonder how but sounds like there's going to be some sort of a "may-december" love affair thing between Rupert's and Laura Linney's character.. but I wonder how that canbe a comedy... oh nevermind anyways, guess I'm just too excited about it right now ^_^

Rupert has already graduated school and the next HP film does not start until 2006. Why not take advantage of this summer and be in another film? Acting involves taking jobs. So by definition, all actors like the spotlight and I don't think he should be singled out as being wrong in that. I am glad to see him being a good worker and being wise in taking a wonderful job. Laura Linney was nominated for an Oscar as was the director of this film. Julie Walters has won British acting awards too. So he is in with a good crowd and I feel proud of him.

I have a bad feeling about this. I don't know. I have an odd feeling that this will interfere with the making of the next movie. Hopefully he has time to do both. Thank God that the film is in London, then he would have to choose between Harry Potter and Driving Lessons. I would choose harry potter, wouldn't you? I don't know, I just have an odd feeling about this.
