Rupert Grint, Ron from the Harry Potter movies is reportedly
to star Driving Lessons with Julie Walters and Laura Linney. Filming is scheduled to start filming next month in London and Edinburgh.
About the movie:
The story centers on a shy vicars' son (Grint) with an overprotective mother whose world changes when he meets a retired actress.

I think that Laura Linney will protray his mother and Julie Waters will be the actress. I don't think that the relationship will be romantic (like some people do in some threads and sites I've read.) I do think that perhaps Driving Lessons will be a metaphor for life (although I wouldn't be surprised if the actress isn't teaching the teen how to drive in the movie while dispersing all those lessons...)
I truly hope that Rupert does great in this film. There will be people out to dog him no matter what, because some people out there like to keep other's in a box. But I have high hopes for Rupert (just as I do for the rest of the young cast of HP trio and non...)
I hope the film gets some type of release in the States (and other Rupert loving countries. :)
