Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire recently spoke
to Empire Online about Quidditch and their roles in the film. When asked about the graveyard scene at the end of the movie Pattinson replied: "That will be the most stunning sequence in the Potter series."
Stanislav on filming Quidditch:
I play Quidditch for the Durmstrang School and for Bulgaria at the beginning in the World Cup. It was a great experience. I never imagined I would be riding a broomstick, flying around chasing a little ball, but it went well, I think. It's like entering a whole new world – a great new experience, it's just fantastic.
Pattinson on Goblet of Fire:
I think basically the characters have been developed pretty fully in the first three, and it's just going to take another turn into being more of a thriller, is more boom boom boom, to the climax. I think it's a much faster paced, action-y film than the others. I think that it's a little bit darker, and they kill off key characters. There's always going to be a little bit of a twist – killing someone is always a bit of a shock.

WOW! So Cedric kind of gives a hint about someone dying in the interview. But most people that read this website have read the book already so they already know that Cedric dies.

Pattinson talks about deaths in the story being a suprise... I wonder if he was upset that as soon as he joined the cast his character dies.

Yay! I can't wait to see Stanislav & Pattison on the big-screen...they're hot!
And I'd like to see whether they make Stanislav's Krum into a daredevil Quidditich seeker. I would like to see him do the Wronski Feint.

Im really excited about the movie, but only if draco is still hot and they stick to the way it is in the book more. Sometimes i feel that they ruin a good book by making movies out of it. The magic of the story is gone. :(

Had they included Cedric in the PoA movie people who have never read the books would better understand the chemistry between him and Harry. I think removing the Gryffindor/Hufflepuff game from the PoA movie was a mistake. Cedric beating Harry and then Mr. Diggory talking about it at the Portkey is an important part of understanding how humble and fair Cedric really was. Well, we will see how they write up GoF.

I think it's fair to say the graveyard scene is one of THE most anticipated parts of this film. I too cannot wait to see Ralph Fiennes; he's such a perfect fit for that role. So much to look forward to and so much time yet to go :D

It sounds great, it'd be a shame to spend most of your time talking about quidditch, and not actually doing much of, though. It sounds like it's gonna be great. I'm dying to see what Voldemort looks like when he comes back. I can't quite see him looking quite like he's described as in the book...

I don't understand all the hubub about the deaths Patterson mentions!! Anyone who has allready read the book knows that there are 4 deaths and all being important to the plot!! I just hope this movie has more from the books!! I was quite disapointed with PoA and how they cut the big parts of Lupins speech where he tells harry about the marauders!!
