Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire recently spoke
to Empire Online about Quidditch and their roles in the film. When asked about the graveyard scene at the end of the movie Pattinson replied: "That will be the most stunning sequence in the Potter series."
Stanislav on filming Quidditch:
I play Quidditch for the Durmstrang School and for Bulgaria at the beginning in the World Cup. It was a great experience. I never imagined I would be riding a broomstick, flying around chasing a little ball, but it went well, I think. It's like entering a whole new world – a great new experience, it's just fantastic.
Pattinson on Goblet of Fire:
I think basically the characters have been developed pretty fully in the first three, and it's just going to take another turn into being more of a thriller, is more boom boom boom, to the climax. I think it's a much faster paced, action-y film than the others. I think that it's a little bit darker, and they kill off key characters. There's always going to be a little bit of a twist – killing someone is always a bit of a shock.

Perhaps it is perspective, or maybe he was speaking in a broader sense, but I wouldn't term the deaths in GoF as key characters, at least to the series at large. I wonder if there is something else?

I can't wait to see the movie. I'll have to either read the 6th book slowly or keep re-reading it until the movie comes out.

The graveyard scene may very well be the most difficult part of the book to properly to put on film. I hope the movie makers do it justice.

Grand. More information we already know...said from the actors. I don't know why, but I'm not excited for the movie. The book has much more importance to me. They're basically just bringing what I can already picture in my mind...and frankly -laugh- seeing some of your posts, everyone, I worry for you. That much stress is going to give you all a hernia -smile- ...

It has bugged me (and my friends) for a long time now. I always thought there was something wrong with Dumbledore, like there was a possibility for him to switch sides.. all because Harry had just said that Voldemort was able to touch him and then all of a sudden Dumbledore gets that "triumphant look" on his face. Hmmm....
Well, thanks for the input, seajay.

I really do think that this film will be by far the best yet. It seems as though they have caught the dark, brooding essence of this particular story. Let's just hope that they'll stick to the story line and not addd in their own bits.

I do love that they are keeping Ralph Feinnes' Voldemort totally under wraps so far. Sounds like the actors are contractually obligated not to discuss the graveyard scene and Voldemort, which is understandable in the world of Hollywood, but laughable since we all know what's gonna happen already!
It should be pretty cool for Ianevski and Pattinson when the movie comes out and they are suddenly reeeeallllly big stars!

This could very well be one of those rare movies where the movie is better than the book. Although i wouldn't hold my breath because the book itself is almost perfect enough to where it will be impossible for the movie to be better.

I think the graveyard scene could be VERY SCARY! I know it was in the book. But as Seajay says, I interpreted it as meaning something bad for Voldemort -- that Dumbledore knew something he didn't. He could have used anyone's blood, but would using Harry's means something that happened to Harry rebounded on Voldemort? or made a closer bond?
I'm in the middle of re-reading all the books right now to get ready for HBP. I'll probably have to reread them again before the movie. Or at least reread GoF.

Good, they didn't leave out the World Series. Still disappointed about the Dursley's and Mrs. Weasley, but with the book being so long I suppose it was necessary to cut some things.

I wonder why they said the graveyard scene will be stunning... is it stunning because it's a surprise twist in the book... or is it stunning because of the way it is filmed?
