Warner Bros. has sent us a great new hi-res image from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that features the terrific trio at the Quidditch World Cup campsite. The photo also includes Mr. Weasley, the twins and Ginny in the background.

Wow, I'm waaaay late to post on this, but I just had to go for it anyway. I think the new, high res photo is awesome--plain and simple. I think it's amusing how Ron has the Bulgarian flag and K for Krum on his face! And how Fred/George has a shamrock on his face. Nifty touches! And as for an earlier post where someone mentioned they didn't like their muggle clothes. They were all supposed to look as much like muggles as possible so as not to raise questions by the muggles who run the campsites. I love Harry's and Ron's hair, but I do agree that Hermione needs to have bushier hair, as that's one of her main traits. But I love this pic, and it really makes me excited to see the film.

I never post more than once on any topic, but I just couldn't help myself this time. Okay, I know every one has her/his own opinions, which is cool. However, the one thing that is bothering me is all the complaints about Ron's and Harry's hair. Yes, I am biased and love long hair. Hair is beautiful, and throughout time hair has been considered to have a lot of magical power, mainly strength, and that fits in well with the HP mythos, in my opinion. But whether a person is on the side of long hair or short hair, the bottom line is--let the actors wear their hair however they want. I'm just a tad tired of the "cut the hair" complaints. I never complained when they all had short hair! I just wish people would lighten up on Dan and Rupert. Their hair is their business, not ours.

It seems that since Chris Columbus left the movies, the two new directors have taken a more liberal direction with them. As a result, the boy's hairs are long and messy, and the kids in general are looking they are not wizards and witches, and regular muggles.

The fact is, in the movie industry, it is the directors instructions that counts, and if Newell ordered the hair to be cut, it would have been cut. However, since the long hair is fine with Newell, then that is the way it is going to be.

Personally, I can't stand the hair. I hate that trend with all of my heart. It isn't in character for them at al either. I personally don't know what anyone was thinking to let them do that. Daniel Radcliffe might wear his hair like that, but Harry Potter doesn't. Rupert Grint might, but Ron Weasley doesn't, etc, etc. Unbelievable! (Nice picture otherwise, though)
