This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly features The 122 People & Things we Love This Summer - The Must List. Included on the list at number 13 is Ralph Fiennes, who will be portraying Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in November and Harry Potter illustrator Mary GrandPré, at number 69. The magazine also has a small tidbit
on the selling of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Also Kudos to Mary Grandpré. That's the hardest secret to keep and it's something I would never be able to do. My husband/wife(I'm a guy), would have to know. I would tell them because I trust them knowing how secret it would be. Hahahaha!

That must be cool, getting to read the books before they come out, but it must also be an absolute killer not being able to divulge the info to anyone.
Also, I can see that playing Voldie musst be awfully hard, he's got so much expectation to live up to, and his character is hardly human to start with so how you can play him I don't know. That article on him was a bit crap though!

And Congrats to Mary GrandPre'. I'm jealous that she gets an inside look at the plot but I like how she offers me a visual into the characters before each chapter.

Ralph Fiennes would be a must see for me whether he was playing Voldemort or not. He's a great actor. That said, when they announced that he would be playing Voldemort, I thought it was a perfect selection. He's a good actor and has the capability of having "the look." And, I'm glad EW is identifying Mary's work. The books wouldn't be the same without the artwork she provides. Her artwork has always helped me created the images I have in my head (at least prior to the movies).
