To coincide with the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the Today Show is asking
, "Are you the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan?"
Well if you think you are and are under the age of 13 you may enter Today's Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament. You will need to tell the Today Show in 50 words or less why you think you deserve to participate in the trivia tournament.
According to the site:
Hey all you muggles out there. Are you the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan? Do you think you have what it takes to be in Today's Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament? This is no Triwizard tournament with dragons, eggs or mazes, but a test nonetheless. Well if you are under the age of 13 and have a parent willing to be your partner, then tell us in 50 words or less why you think you deserve to hold court on the plaza and vie for the crown to be the Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament Champion. Include your name and contact number where we can best reach you. You must be available to come to New York City for the contest on Thursday, July 14th. Will our Goblet of Fire choose you?

I wish I could join!!! I love Trivia and Harry Potter, so it could have been really cool! I seem to be to old for all these competitions. Annoying! There are very many older Harry Potter fans too!

I'll be sure to watch that but won't enter. For one thing, I don't meet the age requirement, and even if I did, I'm horrible at trivia. Harry Potter is the BEST EVER, but my mind has trouble storing information. Anyway, my essay to participate would be way over 50 words.

I'm gonna be on Holiday there on those days. But I'm coming from Malta [ teeny weeny island in the middle of the maediterranean, part of europe ]. Its such a long way to america and so we're gonna see lots of things and therefore i'll be busy. Great idea though.

Well I am a fan, but I limit on buying the books only...So I wouldn't do anything else to prove I am a fan...except to come to Hpana (I am a fan of HPANA as well...)

Has anyone noticed that everyone on this site is too old. Perhaps we should start a petition to get the Today Show to have a contest for older fans, seeing as they are discriminating based on age. Furthermore, they lack a proper Age Line for such a restriction anyway.
