To coincide with the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the Today Show is asking
, "Are you the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan?"
Well if you think you are and are under the age of 13 you may enter Today's Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament. You will need to tell the Today Show in 50 words or less why you think you deserve to participate in the trivia tournament.
According to the site:
Hey all you muggles out there. Are you the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan? Do you think you have what it takes to be in Today's Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament? This is no Triwizard tournament with dragons, eggs or mazes, but a test nonetheless. Well if you are under the age of 13 and have a parent willing to be your partner, then tell us in 50 words or less why you think you deserve to hold court on the plaza and vie for the crown to be the Harry Potter Total Trivia Tournament Champion. Include your name and contact number where we can best reach you. You must be available to come to New York City for the contest on Thursday, July 14th. Will our Goblet of Fire choose you?

There we go again with the age limits. For once why can't it just be an open to all tournament or contest. I doubt it if there is any HPANA member under 13. Sigh, I'll just have to buy the book normally like everyone else and get no gifts and no special prizes and all that stuff. But all I can say is that it's good for the under 13 kids, us older guys would have probably won easily.

Sorry for the 2nd post, I just wanted to say that I completely agree with redvelvetcake, and I sure would help setting up a contest for adults or even those who can't enter in the under 13 contest.

I am 100% behind an event for older fans and will help get one organised.
At least buying HBP doesn't have an age limit:)
