Two 2006 Harry Potter calendar's featuring the artwork of Mary GrandPré are now available for purchase from Amazon in mini-wall
calendar and wall formats.
The images are from each of the books and include artwork titled: Detention with Dolores Umbridge, Sneaking to Hogsmeade, Quirrelmort and Stinksap.

It is interesting, but I only like Mary GrandPré's drawings on the book covers. These in the Calendars never fascinate me as much...
But the covers, I really love them. Especially GoF, and the character of Mad-Eye. MAry drawed him exactly the way I imagined him.

i'll DEFINITELY be purchasing this calendar. i have the 2005 edition and it's soooo good. totally frameable. i want to save the images to put on the wall in my kids rooms and i am a long way away from having any kids.

Oooh! I want them both! I love Mary GrandPre's artwork. At one point I thought about getting the UK editions just to research inconsistantsies, but I couldn't stand the artwork so I didn't. I guess I'm just a loyal American.

This calendar looks so cool. I know I will be looking for it in the stores. I love her artwork and would love to decorate a kids room with it someday. I think it would be so neat to have a Harry Potter bedroom with framed Mary Grand Pre prints on the walls.

I always liked Mary GrandPré's drawings from the books. I think they are very close to how I imagine the books. I realy like the chapter pictures.

The art work is okay but I enjoy the pictures from the movies better, because they aren't so conceptual. They are more defined and I absolutly love the actors they have chosen so far...the only one I'm not too sure about is Moody.
