Frances de la Tour
, Mme. Maxime in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire recently spoke about the movie while on the set of The History Boys in England.
She discusses her romance, the difficulty working with green screen, her hopes of returning to the series and the difference working on a big budget movie.
Frances on romance:
She's a French giantess - or half giantess, so of course when she meets Hagrid, they are both half giants, so there's a frisson. There's a lot of romance (in the film). They fall in love, and then, it's really lovely. Hagrid is... again you see a tenderness in him... it's lovely, really lovely to do.

I'm glad that they are including romance in this film (and hopfully the ones to come) because as the kids get older that what they have on their minds. It's good that they kept Hagid and Maxime's romance in too. Hagrid need's some action too. haha.

I think she's great for the part, the casting for Harry potter and the goblet of fire was done really well i say,but i think mad-eye moody should be skinnier, and kaite doesnt suit da part for cho chang I THINK not that shes not pretty or anythingy, i think shes cool but i thought of cho chang differnetly...

Yeah, well, she's nothing like what I expected. I dunno, even though the book says she's not, I expected her to be a lote wider and blonder - well mainly stockier. I guess she'll be good though.

Romance with Hagrid. There wasn't much for blatant scenes between the two of them in the books. I wonder if the film has taken extra liberties.

I'm really pumped about seeing the movie, and I like a bit of romance. Though the character of Madam Maxine was not what I had pictured. Maybe in the movie it will be better.
