While Christopher Paolini's second novel, Eldest
, may have knocked Harry Potter down a notch on Amazon.com's bestseller list
, Scholastic is ramping up to offer a boxed set of all six Potter books to date.
A new image of the set is available at Amazon:
It will cost about $100 and include hardcover editions packaged in an artwork-covered case. Amazon says it will be available October 1, as we reported in June.
Thanks to HarryLatino.com
for the tip.

Same here..I already have 6 books (although it's a mixture of soft and hard covers and 2 of OftP :D) weird yeah. But the plan is to wait for the 7th and then a whole full set to just *look* at and not to read because it'll get all nasty and bent. I'll keep it safe as my own horcrux.. :)

It's pretty awesome, but I've already received the America set (books 1-4) and the UK set (books 1-5). I think I'll also wait until all 7 books are out to get a final collectors set.

i guess it would be nice to have that, but I dunno. One hundred dollars is a little steep for me, and my parents wouldn't let me buy the hardcover for just books 2 and 3 - said it's a waste of money... I think I'd rather wait for all seven to come out first though.

It's nice and it will save money in the long run. The only problem is if you buy the book when it comes out, like most people.

I guess i would agree that people who dont have the whole HP set maybe should wait until the seventh book to come out, so their collection would be complete! But then again its also ok if you buy them on the day it comes out (like me) because i wouldnt want to wait longer than i have to, to read the seventh book!
