Though you won't find her in the Goblet of Fire portraying Mrs. Weasley, Julie Walters
can still be seen teamed up with Rupert Grint in another movie, Driving Lessons. As previously reported, Rupert will be playing a vicar's son, who is sheltered by his mother (Laura Linney), until he meets a mollycoddling retired actress.

At least it's not Thunderpants! It would be interesting to see Rupert act seriously outside of the HP universe. I have a feeling that if and when it hits the states, it'll be such a small blip on the screen that it might pass me by.

Rupert did not remind of Ron at all in that clip! He looks so different there, none of the classic Ron faces, he looks so... un-wizardlike.. if that's even a word :p like everyday people, riding a bus and all that ^_^ I want to see it now!

It'll be good to see them together outside the Potter universe. If the movie is anywhere near as good as that ballet one Julie Walters was in (go figure I forget the name of it...something to do with a boy named Billy...I think) it'll be worth a watch.
Also, this will be a sort of test for young Rupert Grint. I know he was in another movie, Thunderpants (never watched it though, fart jokes just don't do it for me), this is more adult (or so I'd imagin) so the the audience will be a little wider.

That little bit of a clip was great! I still see Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, but Julie Walters has indeed created a very different character than Molly Weasley for this film. The little bit of dialogue I saw (and all of it was of Julie Walters speaking; Rupert Grint just has to look sullen) was terrific and spicy. I'm so looking forward to seeing this film. I'm hopeful it will play in the U.S.
