Last month we reported
that Warner Bros. had promised to fix an error that appeared in a released photo from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The photo in question showed Harry standing in front of the Riddle’s headstone at the end of the film but with a glaring error in the name and date of the deceased.
Moviefone
has published a new picture of the same scene with the correction made.

I'm so glad they fixed this. It would have been a HUGE mistake to leave it the way it was! Those of us who have read the books know who is really burried there, but think of those who haven't. It would've been major confusion.

I'm glad they fixed it, getting the Dark lord's name wrong is a big mistake!! But I don't get why his grandfather's named figures as "Thomas", while his father is "Tom"...still I'm not gonna hate the movie because of that little thing. I can't wait to see it actually I think this is gonna be the best so far!!!
Oh and I REALLY like the stone figure behind Harry which is part of the tomb. It reminds me of a Dementor...

Good, I am glad they fixed it. It was bothering me a bit but even if they did not fix it I would have still seen the movie. That is what's fun about movies from books, you can point out all the blunders.

It can be both important and unimportant in the same way. I mean by important is the accuracy of the data, given by the book. What I mean by unimportant is common viewers will not really pay attention to it. But that's my opinion. I am sorry if I have made it unpleasant for you to see

I'm really really really (etc. ect. etc..) happy that they changed this. It would disrupt the entire flow of the 6th book! And what's with the tripple burrial thing? I got a little confused, it's just Tom Riddle Sr.'s grave, not back and back and back? Is this a JKR clue, or Warrner Brothers being anoyingly not cannon again?

[b] PLEASE EVERYONE READ [b]
For the record and those who can't seem to see the differences between the two pictures:
The changes are:
1. The middle name "Marvolo" is taken out of the new picture and "Riddle" and the dates are moved up. I guess if you haven't read the books you don't know why they would remove "Marvolo" but if you have read then you should realize it is not Lord Voldemort/Tom Marvolo Riddle who is dead and in that grave, it is the FATHER of Lord Voldemort/Tom Marvolo Riddle, whose name is "Tom Riddle". And the two people above are Lord Voldemort/Tom Marvolo Riddle's grandparents.
2. The years on the bottom have been changed from "1915-1943" to "1905-1943"
So please, no more "I don't see any changes". I hope no one takes this in a mean way but there are like 50 messsages saying similiar things like that.

the new one harry looks different like more digitized and the picture is zoomed out. And in the old one harry looks normal it is just a number i say they should have left it alone.

Woohoo! They changed it! I was wondering when they were going to, and it's a lucky thing it was noticed, how bad and embarrasing would it have been for WB if it had gone un-noticed?!

... What i think is funny is that is a small little still that only true fans would have noticed, and people are making such a big deal, but when they leave out a whole chapter (the dursleys) people are okay with it? I would take the messed up still over the missing chapters... (like S.P.E.W)

I hoped they would fix it! That was just too big of a mistake that was. They should care more. I think J.K. should participate more actively in the movie-making!
P.S.: Ron and Hermione forever!

There was a BIG difference in it so I am totally excited about the change.
I cannot wait till November. I wish that the month would hurry up and already come. I don't think that I could wait anymore than I already have to.
