According to an extremely reliable source, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will have a running time of 157 minutes, making it the second longest film in the series of Warner Bros. adaptations of JK Rowling's books. The second movie, at 161 minutes, is the longest.
We're awaiting confirmation from Warner Bros.
UPDATE: WB cannot confirm the running time at present, but The Leaky Cauldron is also reporting
they've received tips that the film will be 160 minutes.
UPDATE #2: According to another tipster, the film is "2 hours 34 minutes and 38 seconds or 154 minutes and 38 secs... from the first glimpse of the movie until the last frame (WB logo)." Presumably, that figure is based on an advanced cut of the movie.

Thank goodness it is this long. I didn't want another Prisoner of Askban length. I think though this should be longer than Chamber of Secrets.

The longer the better I say! Actually I don't mind staying 24 hours inside a moviehouse if only they would include every scene in the book. That's how obsessed I am =)

The longer the better, hopefully. I hope the longer time is actually for the movie, and not credits.

Well the said it was going to be ovet 2 1/2 hours long so that is kind of the length I was expecting. the 3rd was 2 hours and 22 mins, so it is an improvement.

That's really a bit on the long side, if you ask me. I found the first two movies to be almost tediously long, whereas PoA was the perfect length. But I guess if it has to be this long to get in all of the good parts, then I can deal. :-)

The looooooooonger the better! Even if they were to film each and every single page, totaling 16 hours of film, I'd still watch it several times in the theaters!

Wow, I figured that it would be longer given the detail of the plot, though to this day The Chamber of Secrets is my favorite book because of its in depth plot as well.

Yay, the longer this film, the better. I apsoulutley love the Harry Potter films. I think they should have made the Prisoner of Azkaban a little longer because they could of but i still loved it anyway. Go WB!! I wouldn't care if this movie was 3 hours and over. I just have to see it.

Wow! That's long. I don't remeber the other movies being so long. I love that its long because i think that it would be really bad if it was short, i mean there's so much going on!
