According to an extremely reliable source, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will have a running time of 157 minutes, making it the second longest film in the series of Warner Bros. adaptations of JK Rowling's books. The second movie, at 161 minutes, is the longest.
We're awaiting confirmation from Warner Bros.
UPDATE: WB cannot confirm the running time at present, but The Leaky Cauldron is also reporting
they've received tips that the film will be 160 minutes.
UPDATE #2: According to another tipster, the film is "2 hours 34 minutes and 38 seconds or 154 minutes and 38 secs... from the first glimpse of the movie until the last frame (WB logo)." Presumably, that figure is based on an advanced cut of the movie.

A message to HermionesGrkHero although she may have allready corrected a mistake in her post or the moderators may have allready corrected the wrong info if it was there before ^^:
They did not say it would be the LONGEST in the series; it, in fact mentioned COS was 161 minutes long and that it would be the Second longest.
In any case, I sure do hope the "extremely reliable source" IS indeed reliable (and could you tell us the source, HPANA Staff? If not it's ok).

hermygrangergirl...it is mentioned now, yes, but at the time when i first read it, however, it was not mentioned. And if you noticed, if you read from the very first comment that was posted up to my comment, i was the first one to say that CoS was 161 minutes and no one before had mentioned that. but i am glad they (the HPANA staff) fixed that. Thank You.

I was kind of surprised at the length of the film.It was the second largest book and so the movie should have been a bit longer.
