Dobby's Aunt says:
Congrats to J.K. well deserved. I also agree with darrrrwind that the books seem to age appropriate as Harry is growing up. Age 11 for the first book, and so on. The story is getting darker and more violent, may be to much for the younger fans.
But then in an interview I saw of J.K. she said herself that "people underestimate children" this was said in defending her books against teaching kids to be witches and wizards. I also think it could also apply to the younger readers. Best case senario is the parents read the book first and be available to help their child as needed.
