Rowling wins at Quills Awards for 'HBP'

Harry Potter author JK Rowling was a winner
last night at the first annual Quills Awards. Rowling won for 'Book of the Year' and 'Best Children's Chapter Book' for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Rowling accepted her award via video and said:
You've made a sleep-deprived mother very happy.
The awards show will be airing on some NBC networks on October 22nd.

First that we have really heard from her in a while. The sleep deprived comment seems to indicate that she is not working on book 7 yet. Oh well she did give the impression it would be about 2 years.

Although HBP was not my favorite in the series, the book was pivotal. She did a wonderful job writing it. She deserves all or her awards and acclaim. Well Done JK.

Congratulations! Book of the Year is quite an accomplishment. Although I wouldn't classify HBP as a children's book. To me, it's more a young adult book (along with the previous two books), but I feel like no one even agrees with me on this. :-/
