Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has a running time of 156 minutes and 54 seconds, according to the British Board of Film Classification
. That's a mere six seconds shy of what we reported earlier this month based on a reliable source (who apparently rounded up).
Veritaserum reports
that the final 13 minutes, which contain the film's credits, are worth sitting through to get some extra laughs.
This length makes it the second longest Potter film after Chamber of Secrets, which clocked in at 161 minutes, even though the book is twice as long.
The BBFC recently rated Goblet of Fire 12A, meaning no one under 12 years old may see the movie without an accompanying adult. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rated the film PG-13 in the U.S. which places kids under 13 under the same restriction.

I'll be seeing it with some mates for my mate's birthday. I can't wait, maybe we'll go shopping afterwards. We're all over twelve but i think her mum will watch it with us anyway.

I'm sure that the movie will be good. However, I would be lying if I said that the length of the movie didn't scare me a bit. I'm just going to have to get over the feeling of "because it's short, the film wont do its job."

I cant beleive the film is shorter than CoS, when there is so much more story to tell!! I was a bit put out that they were squeezing all of the book in to one film anyway!

It seems long but i bet it'll go really fast if you're enjoying it. I expected it to be this long, or even longer because of how much is in the book. Maybe they should have done it in 2 films... but that would have just taken so much more time.

Yay!!! Two and a half hours of pure happiness...ahhh, and if they mean bloopers in the credits, that's super! Bloopers are cool, therefore HP bloopers are super cool, none of the other movies had them either. I wonder about the ending note of the movie since Cedric dies, but if there's bloopers or whatever after then it must be a bit lighter ending...We shall see in a few weeks but I'll try not to read the super spoilerish overview which has been released!!!

I don't think it is long enough. But than again, I would sit through a HP movie even if it was 3-5 hours long. It is too bad the dursleys are not going to be in the movie, I would have like to seen Dudley after he had eaten the Ton-Tongue Toffee. But I am sure there was a lot of things they would have liked to have put in there, but couldn't. 2-1/2 hours is a lot better than a hour and a half like most movie that are produced.

I'm not bothered about 6 seconds - don't think I'll be able to sit through the credits - might have to wait until the dvd is out.

If you've read this article http://www.hpana.com/news.18959.html you'll know what is missing. Some things we knew already (The Dursleys, S.P.E.W., the house elves...) but there were some things that are so important an my opinion that they shouldn't have left it out. So they have to throw some explanations into movie 5 and that's not good.
Remember the important things which were missing in movie three!
But I'll have a look first and start complaining later (or not...)

That doesn't seem nearly long enough to cover all of the important parts of the book! Hope that nothing important was cut. I know that it would take many more hours to cover it all, but I really hope that it's not all special effects and less of the actual story!
I guess we'll all have to wait and see.

Totally cool. I do wish it was longer. COS was long and the book is way shorter than GOF. I do normally sit through the credits. Maybe there are going to be bloopers. Can anyone confirm??

Not long enough, but we'll see how it turns out. I've said before how I thought the movie should be much longer, but I do understand why they couldn't do it. I can't wait to see the move. Accio November 18th!!
