Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has a running time of 156 minutes and 54 seconds, according to the British Board of Film Classification
. That's a mere six seconds shy of what we reported earlier this month based on a reliable source (who apparently rounded up).
Veritaserum reports
that the final 13 minutes, which contain the film's credits, are worth sitting through to get some extra laughs.
This length makes it the second longest Potter film after Chamber of Secrets, which clocked in at 161 minutes, even though the book is twice as long.
The BBFC recently rated Goblet of Fire 12A, meaning no one under 12 years old may see the movie without an accompanying adult. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rated the film PG-13 in the U.S. which places kids under 13 under the same restriction.

I wonder if there will be anything about the movie that we won't know before actually going to see it? Anyhow, keep the info. coming!

Dammit they could have made a 200 minutes film with this book, but they made it quite shorter than Chamber of Secrets, which is even a smaller book, (by hughe)... But well, they say quality is better than quantity, so i hope it has loads of quatility, cause my favourite of the films at this moment, and by large, is the 2nd, Chamber of Secrets...

I'm thrilled that it's a long movie, but... shouldn't it be even longer? I mean, GoF was one of the biggest books in the series. Obviously, mass amounts of the story must have been edited out...

I still think they should have done a LotR and made it 3 hours and 20 minutes, they might noe botch the books so bad if they would make the movies a little longer. We would still go and go and go and go!! It will be fun to watch anyway, and I love sitting throught the credits!!

That's so short compared to the book itself, but I'll like it anyway.

I say it could be longer. If the 2nd movie(where the book was 1/2 as long) is longer than the 4th movie, then there are plenty of additions we can work into the movie.

It is really going to be interesting to see how this goes along with the book and ehat is left out, I still would have been thrilled if they had made this into two films with one focusing on the quidich world cup and that later on the tri wizard turney. I have not read the recent review so I have no idea how close to the book plot this will be.

This is so not fare because I expected the movie to be much longer than this!!! I mean this is a big book, the movie should at least be 3 hours or longer like the lord of the rings, the books of LOR are much shorter than HP!!

I wonder what's going to make the credits so long. I mean normaly credits don't last 13 minutes do they? I've always sat through all the credits of movies to listen to the music.....thoug know that I think about it at the end of Chamber there was a clip at Diagon Alley where you see a window display for Lockheart's new book "Who am I?" so it may be something like that....still I'm exited! 24 days!
