Potter named 'best fantasy hero' in the UK

A poll conducted to mark the UK's Sci-Fi Channel's 10th anniversary has named Harry Potter the greatest
screen fantasy hero of all time. Potter beat out Spiderman, Doctor Who, Han Solo, Neo from The Matrix, Spock, Yoda and Batman.
The Daleks from Dr. Who toped the list of villains, followed by The Joker, The Terminator from the first Terminator film, Predator, Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon, Lex Luther and Hal 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Well DUH he beat all those other dudes, harry potter is WAY more heroic then any of those losers (no offense but seriously) everyone loves him but not everyone likes little green goblins with only 3 fingers that say 'may the force be with you.' no, we are more of a 'EXPECTO PATRONUM!' sort of people. haha. GO HARRY and congrats to J.K Rowling for her awesome creation, she is a brilliant author and I would give my right arm to meet her.

That's not really any surprise to most if not all of us, don't you think? Of course Harry Potter is the best, but I still think thatit's really cool that Harry beat Yoda, Spiderman and Batman.

That is cool. We know people in POLAND that know about Harry Potter, though, so it is really famous. My mom made me read the first book, and I hated it at first, but after about the eleventh chapter I got in.
Tok me awhile to catch on.
But still, it's, like, already a classic! So as amazing and everything as it is, I guess it isn't to shocking. It's practically EXCPECTED!!! But it still is SWEET!!

Yes, Harry is heroic. He's gotten more heroic with every book. It's interesting that Voldemort was not on the list of top baddies. I think that's because he hasn't been seen on film in full form yet. From reading the books, I certianly get the feeling he's a big-time villian, but some people need to see to believe.
