With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just hitting movie theatres this weekend, a report from VideoETA.com, states that the DVD will be released on April 4, 2006.
During the New York premiere, Mike Newell said that there is about 15 minutes from the movie that may be added to the DVD as well as a director's commentary.
It is not unusual for a DVD to be released 5 months after the movie has hit screens, but as of now this information needs to be confirmed by Warner Bros., and as soon as we hear officially that this is the date, we will inform everyone.

I remember, back in the day, when it would take at LEAST a year for a movie to come out on tape. Thank GOODNESS the time of the dinosaurs has passed and we should be able to get it so quick. I can't WAIT to add it to my DVD collection.
And June 2007 feels like FOREVER to wait on the next movie, but I can handle it - it's the 7th book I am dying to get my hands on!!!

I was annoyed about all of the stuff they cut out, but it would have been hours and hours. Too bad they cut out the Barty-Crouch-senior subplot, and the Rita-skeeter-being-a-beetle sub plot, as well, just to mention a few. Hermione was beautiful, and Dan was hot as usual at the yule ball. Oh, when we were watching the yule ball, the movie broke!! Half the people in the theater started swearing!! Ralf Fienes was correctly terrifing, and I almost cried when he pushed Cedrics dead face over with his foot- it was soo heartless.
