With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just hitting movie theatres this weekend, a report from VideoETA.com, states that the DVD will be released on April 4, 2006.
During the New York premiere, Mike Newell said that there is about 15 minutes from the movie that may be added to the DVD as well as a director's commentary.
It is not unusual for a DVD to be released 5 months after the movie has hit screens, but as of now this information needs to be confirmed by Warner Bros., and as soon as we hear officially that this is the date, we will inform everyone.

April...april? That's 5 months away. Guess it's better than 6 months though. I hope there's more than 15 mins extra footage. I think there should be lots of deleted scenes, bloopers, commentary, interviews. But one thing I think we can do without is games...I really don't see the point in them.

The last few have always come out right before school gets out in May, so I suppose that is when I always figure it will be out, but April would be nice. I hope there are a lot of deleted scenes. I wish they would release a director's cut like they did for Lord Of the Rings so we could see a longer and better version.
