With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just hitting movie theatres this weekend, a report from VideoETA.com, states that the DVD will be released on April 4, 2006.
During the New York premiere, Mike Newell said that there is about 15 minutes from the movie that may be added to the DVD as well as a director's commentary.
It is not unusual for a DVD to be released 5 months after the movie has hit screens, but as of now this information needs to be confirmed by Warner Bros., and as soon as we hear officially that this is the date, we will inform everyone.

I heard something recently that the movie companies were talking about releasing DVD's much sooner than they have been because of illegal one's hitting the market days after a movie is released in theatres. Heard they were looking at 2 weeks to a month.

I can't believe that we are talking about the DVD when the mvie on was just released and I don't get to see it fro 9 more days. Please let us see the film first. Then we can talk about what is going to be in the DVD and when it is going on sale.
