With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just hitting movie theatres this weekend, a report from VideoETA.com, states that the DVD will be released on April 4, 2006.
During the New York premiere, Mike Newell said that there is about 15 minutes from the movie that may be added to the DVD as well as a director's commentary.
It is not unusual for a DVD to be released 5 months after the movie has hit screens, but as of now this information needs to be confirmed by Warner Bros., and as soon as we hear officially that this is the date, we will inform everyone.

Well, I'm sure ready for it. That scene that they've got pictures of, where Harry Ron and Hermione are in front of the fire was not in the finished product. I'd like to see that. Also, there's one with Harry on the Gryffindor Common Room couch.

That would be so cool to see all the deleted scenes that they didn't put in the movie. But it would be even better if they could follow it exaclty like the book, and make a full movie of that and then show the hard core HP fans who want to see it. I know that it would be like a 5 hour movie, but seriously...who wouldn't enjoy every second of the GOF movie in full??!!! Name me one...

OMGoodness! I can't wait! I love seeing what they took out of the movie. It makes me feel better thinking that they DID film it... It's just that it didn't end up in the final cut. Also, the other DVD's didn't have a commmentary. I usually never listen to them, but c'mon! It's Harry Potter!
