With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just hitting movie theatres this weekend, a report from VideoETA.com, states that the DVD will be released on April 4, 2006.
During the New York premiere, Mike Newell said that there is about 15 minutes from the movie that may be added to the DVD as well as a director's commentary.
It is not unusual for a DVD to be released 5 months after the movie has hit screens, but as of now this information needs to be confirmed by Warner Bros., and as soon as we hear officially that this is the date, we will inform everyone.

And i wouldnt get really excited yet because that would be very unusuall to give the DVD a release date when it just hit theaters a few days ago. So it seems a bit dodgy to me when they dont even know how long its going to last in theaters. I mean dont get me wrong, id love it if it came out that soon...just saying im not counting on it. :P

I wouldnt doubt if it was out around that time only because a lot of movies come out about 5 months after they hit the movie theater. I have only thought of one recent movie that took a long time to come to dvd and thats the Polar Express. That took almost a year to come to dvd. Just my thought though.
