While editors placed it at eighth, they offered another interesting choice: "Best book for kids not yet ready for Harry Potter." (It's Leonardo, the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems.)
Other categories include "Worst book by a celebrity," "Best unmasking of a historical monster" and "Most overstated title."

I would call harry potter and the half blood prince the best book of this year, but I definatley wouldn't call it the best harry potter book out there. The book scarred me for about two weeks after I read it. I would stop seeing Ron and Lavender in my head, her sitting on top of him snogging on the couch in the commons. but I have gone past that now, in my head instead of lavender its hermione of course. But I have to admit, Half Blood prince was an amazing book.

Shocker Shocker. Well did we really expect it to end up on the worst books list? If it did then the persons who put together the list should of been shot.

Yay! I thought that Harry Potter was the best book of 2005. However, there were also some really good, well-written books that were also published in 2005.

I think that is so cool! I mean, I would settle for coming in 8th if they made a catagory based on the book I wrote! Hats off to J.K. Rowling!! I, being a Harry Potter fan, am very proud of her!!
