got an early look at the deleted scenes that are to be included in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD, expected in the first quarter of this year. Eight new scenes are described to be featured:
The DVD was previously reported to be released early March, but we'll keep you posted on the actual release date. Thanks to Pablo for the tip.

Deleted scenes are one of my favorite parts of DVDs. I like how some directors incorporate them back into the movie for the DVD release. It's nice to read about the scenes that we didn't see especially when you think about the still pictures we've seen here on HPANA that are not in the final theatrical release.

Yeah I agree putting in a bit about the polyjuice potion would have cleared up confusion for nonreaders. I think scenes 5,7,8 are quite important and looking forward to seeing them.

I'm kinda disappointed, there are indeed more deleted scenes than these posted here..there are many H/Hr moments that they've omitted...like the one where Hermione leans on harry's shoulders, the trio at the waterfall, Hermione telling Harry not to concentrate on the tournament, Hermione holding both Ron and Harrys' hands....I wish they could add them in!

wow there mssing alot of scences to put on the DVD such as: the trio haning out on the steps. Ron setting up someone else to dance w/ Krum which leads HErmoine to saying you ruined everything. Hermione and harry talking before the first task and hermione saying do you rremebver the charm, HArry walking into the Prefects bathroom, and The must important the extended graveyard scence with more of Voldemort talking and stuff... arghh they need these. I gues we'll have to wait till the extnded version eventually come out.
