got an early look at the deleted scenes that are to be included in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD, expected in the first quarter of this year. Eight new scenes are described to be featured:
The DVD was previously reported to be released early March, but we'll keep you posted on the actual release date. Thanks to Pablo for the tip.

It does look like the reshot other scenes to take into account what they cut out in the deleted ones. I was so looking forward to seeing Snape speaking with Karkaroff and now I will see it! Yay! I just hope it still comes out in March...

And they don't include the dance scene with Neville and Ginny (Newell himself talks about this scene getting cut), or the scene where Hermione and Ron find Harry sitting by a waterfall (which is even included in a calendar!)
Well, at least these deleted scenes are better than what was on the POA DVD.

Deleted scenes are always interesting to see, but hey- they were deleted for a reason. I'm hoping there's also cast interviews and other extra stuff. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the deleted scenes aren't the only extras.......
