Well I am glad to see it. But somewhat suprised that it did not get some in the special effects area. I thought some of the animation was truly deserving.

Hey, even a nomination is very cool, although I can't figure out how Narnia got three nominations because it was a cool movie but not really nomination worthy in my opinion. It was really average more than anything else, the cgi scenes weren't even exceptional (with the exception of Aslan and a few other instances). BUt hey, I didn't like a lot of the other nominations either, and the movies I did like didn't get tapped more than once or twice, if at all, so this is why I'm not a person who makes the nominations.

I am so glad that the Goblet of Fire got an Oscar nomination. They always seem to look over these kinds of movies but they got it this time. I am rooting for them for sure. I will be tuning in to see if they win!

That is really cool. But Im kinda disapointed. We usually get nominated for Visual effects and soundtrack. I dont think we will win it, even though I really want it too, but it is up against some good movies. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I just think GoF was overlooked, cause it has got lots of impressive stuff, like the special effects, but specially the soundtrack, I think it could have at least got a nomination.

They better win, or I'm going to hurt someone (not literally). I'm kind of nervous, though, because everyone made such a big deal about King Kong. We can take that ape any day! Gorilla...whatever, we can still take it!

I was also surprised that GoF didn't receive any other technical nominations, but it's a tight race this year. I hope the individuals who worked on GoF's art direction are recognized.
