Well I am glad to see it. But somewhat suprised that it did not get some in the special effects area. I thought some of the animation was truly deserving.

Yay! GOF got nominated for an OscaR!!
It BETTER win that award!
But IF it doesn't, it did well to get nominated anyway.

It's unbelievable they have not nominated it for Best Visual Effects...
Well I'm not surprised, the Academy always ignores HP.

Goblet of Fire has been nominated for almost every award there is to be nominated for it . . . pretty soon they'll be making up nominations for it lik, best red head, or sexiest actress . . . actually, I think it would win that, with Bonnie and Emma . . .

Or visuals, like Ainhoa said... they so much deserved that! The dragon and the underwaterscenes were absolutely amazing!!!
And what about costumes? I loved the different dresses and outfits for the different task and different schools too. It's quite unfair really!

Like I said before.. It's definitely going to win it without a shadow of a doubt. there is no way that it's going to lose. HP and losing is like an oxymoron... which also means the opposite by the way.

Good luck, tough I am disappointed: GoF hasn't been nominated for Special Visual Effects or original Soundtrack, I hoped it would!
I would like to say we are going to win, but I have been watching the Oscars for 31 years, and I know we won't win. The Academy won't give an Oscar to a "teenagers' blockbuster", as they call it. Let's face it, a nomination is all we are going to get.

Oh my...there is tough nominees there.
I'm not really surprised it wasn't nominated in the other categories, expect Special Visual Effects. The fact that they spent billions on the film (right?) is rather sad.
