The roles of Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks, Dolores Umbridge & Bellatrix Lestrange have been cast for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it was announced
this morning.
As expected, Imelda Staunton will play new DADA teacher Professor Umbridge. The role of Luna Lovegood will be played by 14-year-old Evanna Lynch from Ireland who was one of the thousands of girls who auditioned in London a few weeks ago.
We previously mentioned that Helen McCrory had been cast as Bellatrix and now she has been officially confirmed. Ms. McCrory has appeared in Casanova and The Count of Monte Cristo as well as numerous British TV shows.
Natalia Tena, who recently appeared in Mrs. Henderson Presents with Judi Dench & Bob Hoskins will be playing hair-changing Tonks.
We finally get to see the character of Mrs. Figg who will be played by actress Kathryn Hunter, who has appeared in Orlando and All or Nothing.
Principal photography is scheduled to start on Monday, February 6 at Leavesden Studios.

Nothing what i imagined them to look like! im realy hopeing they look better in costume and hair and makeup and things, but im sceptical...disapointing realy oh well, lets hoe to be amazed in the end :)

I agree with kez1e, Imelda Stauton will probably steal the show. Has anyone seen Sense and Sensablity? Ohhhhhhh, you all are going to love to hate this woman by the end of the movie!

Very cool. Things are really beginning to appear fleshed out. Of course we now have to wait until filming begins to get a real sense of what they look like. But I am sure it will all be worth the wait.

As a side note--I know a lot of people who are NOT going to be happy that David Thewlis (Prof. Lupin)'s wife, Anna Friel didn't get the part of Tonks! There has been a great deal of talk about whether or not she should/would get the role...but I wish Nat Tena the best of luck!

Evanna Lynch -- I see no Luna in her, I expected Luna to be a little more dreamy, I dunno, but I cant judge yet until they change her into a Hogwarts gal!
Overall, lets hope they all do a good job in the next movie, and I hope they make Bellatrix look really evil and make her role the best!!

I wish we could see how the others look like, I can't find decent pics of them. Specially the girl who's going to be Tonks! I had my hopes on Anna Friel (David Thewlis would have liked that, ha ha ha), she is sooo pretty and talented! But I hope this girl will be good, Tonks is my favourite character!
