No 'Sirius' deal yet, says Oldman's manager

Gary Oldman has not yet been presented with or signed a contract to appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, HPANA has confirmed.
Despite a recent statement from the studio, we have learned and double-confirmed that no agreement has been made.
"At this time Gary Oldman is not set to appear in the next Potter film," manager Doug Urbanski told HPANA. "I cannot explain why the studio confirmed his appearance."
It's unlikely Oldman wouldn't reprise his role as Sirius Black in the fifth film.
Note: This does not imply he won't be in the movie, just that there's no current definitive agreement for him to appear.

He had better be in it!! How many more Harry Potter movies are they going to ruin! If he is not in it, then basicly there is no point of doing the movie, has Sirius is one of the centre plots in the book! I will be so angry and upset if he is not in it!

What is all this bickering about? Money? Get over it! Just make a decision already and lets get going. As filming has already started, I'm sure they're well on their way to some kind of agreement. His manager may simply be peeved that Radcliffe and the other young actors are getting loads.

Sirius is a key character in the fifth movie, as was Mrs Figg in the first and they did not place her in the movie. Not sure why though, but boy-cotting Sirius in this film would be a huge mistake. Gary Oldman is great as Sirius in the movie, why would WB cut his character? Lets hope they sign him up soon.

I think that he will reappear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The movie wouldn't be as much of a success if the cast were to change to others we don't know of. We have already gotten used to seeing Sirius Black as he is in the films (with Gary Oldman) and it would be a great downfall to the movie if he were to be replaced by someone else. I hope he will reprise his role in the upcoming film.

Althought I think the source of the problem is his agent. He's gotta get his 10%, so he's playing hardball. Actually, if he's getting 10%, Gary Oldman is getting ripped off.
