No 'Sirius' deal yet, says Oldman's manager

Gary Oldman has not yet been presented with or signed a contract to appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, HPANA has confirmed.
Despite a recent statement from the studio, we have learned and double-confirmed that no agreement has been made.
"At this time Gary Oldman is not set to appear in the next Potter film," manager Doug Urbanski told HPANA. "I cannot explain why the studio confirmed his appearance."
It's unlikely Oldman wouldn't reprise his role as Sirius Black in the fifth film.
Note: This does not imply he won't be in the movie, just that there's no current definitive agreement for him to appear.

I really hope he is in it. how can he not be. are they saying there might not be a sirius black or will there deffinatly be one just someone else might play him. i really hope no one else plays him cause it will just ruin the connection between movies and its not like he will have alot of screen time and after this he will be dead anyway so he should just do it. it could also be that since he isnt filming just yet that he doesnt have to sign a contract or anything till the summer when they said he would start filming.

Can they write out on of the most defining moments of Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix when Sirius falls through the veil? I hope we get answers to this soon.

If he Harry Potter films are remembered for anything it will be the fact that they were cast with possibly the finest English actors of the time.. what happens if someone else gets cast and does the job better? Everyone will say 'That Gary Oldman sucks he can't even do childrens films!' and his career will be flushed down the toilet!

Well, come on guys (meaning the studio, Mr. Oldman & Mr. Urbanski)! Get off your collective duffs and get the deal done! Gary Oldman was excellent in the rule of Sirius Black and to change actors at this point would mess up the continuity of the series.
