This morning news comes from across the pond of additional casting
for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The role of Amelia Bones will be played by Sian Thomas, recently seen in Vanity Fair, the Dursleys will be back in full form, Charles Hughes will be a young Wormtail and Susie Shinner will portray a young Lily Potter.
Also Dudley's gang members will consist of Jason Boyd as Piers Polkiss and Richard Macklin as Malcolm. Auror Dawlish will be played by Richard Leaf and Nick Shim has been cast as Zacharias Smith.

Sian Thomas looks a lot like I imagined Amelia Bones. :) From her looks alone, really good casting. I can't wait to see her using a monocle.
Meanwhile I really can't wait to see photos of Charles Hughes and Susie Shinner, as well as the other young Marauders. I wish there was something to be found on them. The studio really ought to release photos.

Destroyer of all Good, that isn't nice at all. Clearly, that isn't the greatest picture of Sian Thomas, with her mouth open, taken with a flash at some event.
And she's middle aged. Just as Amelia Bones is described in HBP.
If she makes you want vomit, I shudder to think how you react when you walk down the street and see other ordinary-looking people. One wonders if you are drop-dead handsome.

Wow! I saw the new article and the picture, and I immediately knew, it was Amelia Bones! Perfect!! I like her character, though she is not really important. Young Wormtail looks ok, I think, I can see a little rattishness in his eyes and nose, that's enough for me. :D
I have to say I'm really glad things are going on so smoothly, and relatively fast! I love to hear it that new actors and actresses have been cast, and the filming is under way.
I hope they have chosen the best ones.
I'm also glad the Dursleys will be back as they say, in "full form" and I'm looking forward to seeing the Dudley demented scene!! With Dudley's band! It's great they include them as well!

Great that the Durlseys will be back! Sian? She must be Welsh. I knew a Sian and her family was straight from Wales which was cool. And Charles Hughes must be Welsh descent also since I know Hughes is a Welsh last name. *laughs* Then again, my family name is Hughes so that's how I know he must have Welsh blood in him!

Yes! The Dursleys are back!!! I don't now how they did it in the 4th movie, because for the people who read the book when they watched the movie they were like, "0_o" so basically i think it is a great thing, and so much more charcthers enhances the Harry Potter Family!

Yayyyyy!!! The Dursleys are back!!! I really have a gut feeling that this isn't really going to be the best film so far, I think Goblet of Fire is. But this will be fantastic!!
