This morning news comes from across the pond of additional casting
for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The role of Amelia Bones will be played by Sian Thomas, recently seen in Vanity Fair, the Dursleys will be back in full form, Charles Hughes will be a young Wormtail and Susie Shinner will portray a young Lily Potter.
Also Dudley's gang members will consist of Jason Boyd as Piers Polkiss and Richard Macklin as Malcolm. Auror Dawlish will be played by Richard Leaf and Nick Shim has been cast as Zacharias Smith.

Yayyyyy!!! The Dursleys are back!!! I really have a gut feeling that this isn't really going to be the best film so far, I think Goblet of Fire is. But this will be fantastic!!

Good. I am so glad that they are putting the Dursleys back in the movie. It would not have made any sense to people who haven't read the book if they didn't. I hope that these people they have picked do a good job. I wish them luck and all the best!

I can't find any pictures of Susie Shinner. Oh well, I'm sure she'll be appropriate enough. The casting people have done really well in the past - I'm so happy!

I didn't quite imagine amelia to look like Sian but then again I don't think JK descibed her that much,i am sure she will do well though.I am glad there not cutting the dursley's partt because i like their bits there always funny especially Dudleys Tail and tongue! :-)

I still think it was awful they were not given more focus in GOF because I think there is some important stuff that was missing. Alas. What can be done?

Hmmm, I always thought of Amelia Bones as a bit...er..more plump, to be kind. I guess Sian Thomas will be "just okay" as long as they die her hair. I just can't imagine Amelia Bones being skinny and blonde!
As far as the other cast goes, the only person I really care about is the one who plays Piers Polkiss. If they can make Ralph Fiennes look like a snake, they can surely turn Jason Boyd into a rat, right?
