Tonight in London, the Black Family Tree that Harry Potter author JK Rowling sketched and donated to Book Aid International was on display for the public to preview before tomorrow's auction. A report by a fan who attended the preview is now available online, with additional names and details that were previously withheld.
Here's a tidbit of the fan report regarding those seven names that were burned-off -- the "black sheep", as mentioned in Order of the Phoenix (numbered to match with those marks on this image of the tree):
The fan report, with a full listing of the other members of the Black family, is now available at HP Lexicon
. For additional information regarding tomorrow's auction of this JK Rowling sketch, please visit Bloomsbury Auctions.

Im glad the tree's been updated and we know who the gaps are. I'd love to see the whole thing revealed. It could answer some impotant questions leading to the outcome of the 7th book. Its so cool how everyones related in some way. Do you think Harry might be ever so slightly related to Voldemort? Just a thought.

Ron would flip if he found out his family is distantly related to the Malfoy's. But this makes understanding the family lines a lot better. I also like that I can see drawings of the characters. It helps me compare them to their actors.

Thank you to whoever posted this! I am really glad to see more of the Black Family tree and I think it would be fantastic if Charlus was Harry's grandfather or something like that! I don't mean good in the way that it relates him to Malfoy and other slytherins although he and Ron would be cousins of some sort, wouldn't they? I seriously cannot wait until the next movie comes out!

I don't want to wait for the next movie. Do we have too? I want to see it right now, so I can get a movie version of the family tree. Plus, I want to know who is playing Sirius. I am so confused, is it Gary or someone else. I keep hearing different stories. June 2007, why?

Ron-Hermione224 says:
Hermione will figure out who R.A.B is. She knows everything. She better. I am looking forward to the next book. So much is going to happen. Finally, I hope after many years of waiting Ron and Hermione together. They better be. Also, I been waiting to see how they do on their N.E.W.Ts after they take them. J.K Rowling is good. She has had us hooked and now I can't live without the world of Harry Potter. It is real...I know it is. That tree is really cool though.

I seem to be bookmarking everything to do with this tree lately...I think I'm accidentally becoming obsessed. I just wish we could see that part that's been blurred out. GAH! Guess what I'm going to be losing sleep over.

It's so cool! And provides tons of tantilizing information...there's a Weasley, and a Potter...hmmm...I think there will be a lot of speculation stemming from this family tree.

As much as I love the Black family tree, it looks a bit abbreviated to me. I thought it was supposed to go back to the Middle Ages.

Well, it's nice to see some more information provided about the "Noble and Most Ancient House of Black."
I'm rereading the Order of the Phoenix at the moment and I am trying to imagine the tree. Seeing as it's a little bit fuller it's easier.

It is so funny to see who is related to whom. For example Harry and Millicent Bulstrode...that's weird!
Have to take a closer look now!
