Tonight in London, the Black Family Tree that Harry Potter author JK Rowling sketched and donated to Book Aid International was on display for the public to preview before tomorrow's auction. A report by a fan who attended the preview is now available online, with additional names and details that were previously withheld.
Here's a tidbit of the fan report regarding those seven names that were burned-off -- the "black sheep", as mentioned in Order of the Phoenix (numbered to match with those marks on this image of the tree):
The fan report, with a full listing of the other members of the Black family, is now available at HP Lexicon
. For additional information regarding tomorrow's auction of this JK Rowling sketch, please visit Bloomsbury Auctions.

This is real good. Gives a lot of ideas and theories. Crouch, Longbottom and Weasley's are from the same lineage. Interesting facts.
The one about Phineas Jr. is also good, struck out for supporting muggles. Imagine the reaction of Phineas Sr.

Oh my gosh. Theres a clue on here. It says Regulus was bron in 1961, and died 1979. He was only eighteen years old. Is that really old enough to have discovered the Horcruxes?

Really shows just how intermarried the pure-blood families are. Lots of pure-blood character family names up there, did you notice?
Crabbe, Longbottom, Crouch, Potter, Malfoy, Rosier, Flint, McMillan, Bullstrode, Weasley, Prewitt...
They're all surnames of characters we know: Vincent Crabbe, Neville Longbottom, Barty Crouch, Rosier the Death Eater, Marcus Flint, Ernie McMillan (though I think that might be MacMillan), Arthur Weasley, Molly Prewitt Weasley.
"It says Regulus was bron in 1961, and died 1979. He was only eighteen years old. Is that really old enough to have discovered the Horcruxes?"
Voldemort was 16 or 17 when he discovered how to make horcruxes. Regulus was probably reasonably clever, especially if Voldemort made him a Death Eater by the time/before he was 18. It's not outside of the realm of possibility.

Nobody seems to realize that this means that Ginny and Harry are related as well...I know intermarriage is common in the wizarding world, but still...a bit creepy, don't you think?
