Potter trio & Heyman appear at Empire Awards Popular (24754)

Even though Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire didn't win any accolades at tonight’s Empire Awardsopens in new window in London, the series did win an honorary award for their contribution to cinema.

Goblet of Fire had been nominatedopens in new window in the Best Sci-fi/Fantasy and the Best British Movie categories but lost to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith and Pride & Prejudice.

In attendance to pick up the award was Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Harry Potter producer David Heyman. Also in attendance was Jason Isaacs, David Tennant, Robert Pattinson and James and Oliver Phelps, you can see some pictures hereopens in new window courtesy of Film Magic.

I dont know what the empire awards are for but this one entrigued me. I think I was because they were all their with David and some others showed up to watch. And it is totally awsome that they one an award for contributions to cinamatography.

Too bad that they didn't win. It would have been awesome if they had but I guess majority of the people thinks that Star Wars was a better movie.
I saw the pictures of Emma, Rupert, Dan, and Robert and I must say that they all need to get some sleep, better hairstylist, and better clothes. The only one who looked good was Dan. And Robert looked a bit cocky.

Their was some tough competition in their catergories of nomination, but they did great!

To receive an award for their contribution to cinema must be great, I mean they did gross the highest rating film in 2005!
