In some recent
promotion for the latest Harry Potter DVD in the UK, producer David Heyman said that fans can be expected a trailer from the fifth movie "some time towards the end of the year" and that the film "will probably come out in the summer or autumn of 2007, with Half-Blood Prince set to follow in 2008."
Daniel also let CBBC Newsround know that the kiss between Harry and Cho had to be rescheduled due to him being sick but joked "Katie escaped, but I will get her."
UPDATE: Thanks to Cora for pointing out that you can win a signed DVD copy of Goblet of Fire courtesy of CBBC Newsround. The DVD is signed by Daniel, Rupert and Emma and will be given to one winner, a runner-up will receive a bagful of Goblet of Fire goodies. In the video Dan looks and sounds a litle ill (although he looks very handsome). When we are ill we can stay in bed, doing nothing, but Dan has to be doing interviews and filming :(

Come to think of it, doesn't Emma have to kiss Rupe on the cheek in this one? I hope they leave that scene in.

Can't wait... It will hopefully be better than GoF... I liked it, but I thought it left out way too much. Dobby, SPEW to name a few... as well as people like Bertha J and Ludo B... They were there for a reason... I can't imagine why they left them out.

Also, very glad to see on IMDB that HAGRID IS BACK!!! Robbie Coltraine kept talking about "signed on for four movies, I've done four movies".... there can be NO OTHER HAGRID!!
To Goose... Steve Cloves had already signed back on for the screenplay to Half Blood Prince. If he's already writing that it will be easier to go right smack into HPB when done with OOTP. Maybe that's helping...

End of the year!!! It's going to be torture because I can only remember how much excitement was bursting about whenever the GoF trailer came on. I just would get these ginormous excitement surges!!! And to have to wait 6-8 months for the movie!

I always thought that OotP would come out before Book 7 but now I'm not that sure... If the movie comes out only in the autumn of 2007 then probably we will have the new book out first. Anyway they are both going to be great.
