In some recent
promotion for the latest Harry Potter DVD in the UK, producer David Heyman said that fans can be expected a trailer from the fifth movie "some time towards the end of the year" and that the film "will probably come out in the summer or autumn of 2007, with Half-Blood Prince set to follow in 2008."
Daniel also let CBBC Newsround know that the kiss between Harry and Cho had to be rescheduled due to him being sick but joked "Katie escaped, but I will get her."
UPDATE: Thanks to Cora for pointing out that you can win a signed DVD copy of Goblet of Fire courtesy of CBBC Newsround. The DVD is signed by Daniel, Rupert and Emma and will be given to one winner, a runner-up will receive a bagful of Goblet of Fire goodies. Most of the best and memorable bits of the HP series are from OotP in my eyes and I can't wait to see it come to life! I wonder if Harry will have short hair in this film or if they make Daniel wear a wig because i can't imagine Harry Potter with the hairstyle Dan is sporting at the mo!

The end of the year, that's quite a time to wait, and yet it isn't. I'm always waiting for new trailers for just about any movie to come out, but Harry Potter more than any other I always go on Yahoo to look for them when I'm bored, in fact I've not gone there to look for new ones in a while, so that's what I'm going to do after I'm done posting this.
I hope Half-blood Price does come out in 2008, that would be wicked! I think they'll really be able to make a good movie of it, it's hard to say. Though HBP is not as large a book as GoF and OoTP it still has a lot of things that will need to be adapted into a desent script, and I'm sure it's not going to be an easy job; I'm glad it's not my job, I'll tell you that.

I imagine Harry with short hair, like Dan's hair is at the moment, like it was in PoA. Although I liked it in GoF too. But I think it's good that they change his haircut for every movie.

I think David Heyman is going to be a great director for the 5th film since he has been around for all of them. I hope he puts in all the right scenes and people. It is exciting to hear that the trailer will be here by the end of the year. I hope time flies by.

I'm already looking forward to a movie trailer thats a year away. How sad is that! When he said HBP in 2008, i thought he meant BOOK 7 and I said NOO! But, I must pay more attention. 2008 for movie 6 is MUCH closer then I thought. But that's excellent!Woohoo!
