In some recent
promotion for the latest Harry Potter DVD in the UK, producer David Heyman said that fans can be expected a trailer from the fifth movie "some time towards the end of the year" and that the film "will probably come out in the summer or autumn of 2007, with Half-Blood Prince set to follow in 2008."
Daniel also let CBBC Newsround know that the kiss between Harry and Cho had to be rescheduled due to him being sick but joked "Katie escaped, but I will get her."
UPDATE: Thanks to Cora for pointing out that you can win a signed DVD copy of Goblet of Fire courtesy of CBBC Newsround. The DVD is signed by Daniel, Rupert and Emma and will be given to one winner, a runner-up will receive a bagful of Goblet of Fire goodies. Yeah!!! And it sounds like WB is filming the two movies close together, if HBP will be released in 2008. I think that's smart, so they can keep the original actors.

Wow! Thats awesome but....2008 for the book? so is that confirmed now? oh.....that makes me sad but I still hope the movie is on summer 2007,not 2008.Still,great news HPANA! Now to update....

that's so awesome. It'll fly by and i can't believe they are already preparing a release time for HBP. Can't wait for the day we can view the trailer but this time i'm going to be patient and not look at preview clips or stills or photos so its all new when i watch it at the cinema. That's the plan anyway but i doubt it'll go that smoothly!

Yay! a trailer by the end of the year, still seems far off, but half the fun is waiting! To win the dvd copy, even though i cant, (im in usa) i looked at the question and its really easy, i wonder how there going to choose the winner becuase anyone could answer that. the question was: Who does Harry take to the Yule Ball? Maybe the question is different for every person. i dunno. Thats great though HBP will come out soon after!
