With just a week on sale Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has become the fastest selling
DVD ever in the UK.
According to CBBC Newsround:
Just under three copies flew off the shelves every second during the first six days of its release.
And on the very first day it hit the shops, Monday 20 March, six copies were being sold every second.
In total it has now sold 1.4 million copies making it the seventh biggest selling DVD movie of all time according to the Official Charts Company.

I was disappointed with the extras on the DVD. With the amount of footage with cast & film crew that has been on the internet, I would have expected more to have been included on the DVD.

That is to be expected. *grins* I mean, GoF was a really great movie. I think it followed the story line (I won't say it followed the book, because movie adaptions never do), and it was very action packed and brilliant!

Woo hoo! That's fabulous. It really doesn't surprise me though. There were a lot of people, including me, that were surprised that we got it first here in the US. Not that I'm complaining... ;o) I'm sure there were many in the UK that were chomping at the bit to get it!

That is crazy how fast the movies are selling. I know I bought mine over in the U.S. the day that it came out. I even watched the movie and all the extras that night as well. I'm so glad that it is selling wonderfully!

Wow i know i was one of the hands flying a dvd off the shelf on friday..My old copy broke :-( soo i got a new one.
It is a great film although it wouldv'e been better if some scenes hadn't been deleted though.

I find it appsoloutely incredible that the movie did so well in the theater and is selling so fast as a DVD yet the awards people did not agree. The critics... what do they know, nothing!
