Did you guys here about Evanna Lynch dropping out of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix.I got this straight out of EvannaLynchFans.com
I have to say that I am absolutely dumbfounded at this news. A sad day for Evanna fans... Looks like this site is going to have to close soon.
Edit: Some of you seem to think this is some sort of April Fool's joke. I agree it is coincidental that the announcement was made on April 1st, but it is now April 2nd here in Europe and I can assure you that the news is, unfortunately, true. We were informed by Evanna's rep that she had not yet filmed any scenes and had so not signed any contract to bind her to the film.
In a shock announcement today by the actress's agent, Michael Whelan, it was revealed that Evanna Lynch no longer wishes to portray the role of Luna Lovegood in the fifth Harry Potter film, Order of the Phoenix.
According to Evanna's spokesperson: "Evanna has made a decision to discontinue work on the fifth Harry Potter film. This decision has been made for personal reasons which Evanna and her family do not wish to disclose. As of this moment, Warner Brothers has not found a replacement actress to play Luna but will hold open auditions in the near future."
We have received quite a number of emails from astonished fans about the sudden move, but Alice - a girl who attends Evanna's secondary school - wrote us with a little more information on the news: "Evanna told me she wasn't happy working on the Harry Potter film. She didn't like being away from home, her family and her friends and felt that none of the cast liked her. She still wants to continue acting but not in the Harry Potter movies."
I have to say that I am absolutely dumbfounded at this news. A sad day for Evanna fans... Looks like this site is going to have to close soon.

Yeah! Harry Potter won both awards! So.. whats up with Luna dropping out? After all of the additions against thousands of girls, and she is dropping out?! I am sorry, but ... they would have to drag me away! I would not want to go at all. In fact I would not even have to be paid, I would pay them, to let me stay!!

Well, so much for casting my vote. No matter, HP still won! It looks like the books category had some good competition. But compared to the movies, GOF has to win (no competition).
