Earlier this evening the Nickelodeon's 2006 Kid’s Choice Awards was held
and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire won the ‘Movie of the Year’ award and the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Half-Blood Prince won for the ‘Book of the Year.'
You can read the press release here, sad to say but no video or acceptance speech from any of the cast was shown. Thanks to everyone who emailed.

I wish that there was at least a video acceptance speech. The people who get the kid's choice award are always notified ahead of time to ensure an appearance or a taped acceptance speech.

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice for Best Movie Award is better than any stupid Academy Award! *rolls eyes* Sarcasm, what would I do without you?[b] It's times like these that really make me appreciate the fact that seventeen year olds and under can't vote.[b] Thank you, United States government! I can understand HP winning for best book, but for best movie? Please, the ensemble cast in Herbie: Fully Loaded did a better job---and I didn't even see the movie. Cripes.
