Daniel Radcliffe sent out a new newsletter
to fans recently and mentioned that Harry Potter director David Yates is fantastic and that actress Imelda Staunton, who will be portraying Prof. Umbridge, is brilliant. He also updates his fans with his recent music tastes as well as thanks his fans for his most recent gifts.

I am hoping Umbridge will be very very spooky and mean. In her fluffy pink outfits of course. I can't wait to see her and McGonagall hammer it out back and forth in the next movie. It's going to be brilliant, of course nothing like the books. How could it be that genius? Maybe if they do an extended edition Director's Cut DVD. That'd be the illest thing ever.

Oh, it's cool that Dan says that Staunton is doing well as Umbridge, but I think I'll reserve judgement until I see it for myself. Right now she doesn't fit the mental picture I have of Umbridge, but maybe it'll be closer by the time they get the movie out. Of course a lot of the new characters in GoF didn't match the mental pictures I have of them, but they were still acceptable, so we'll see.
