Daniel Radcliffe sent out a new newsletter
to fans recently and mentioned that Harry Potter director David Yates is fantastic and that actress Imelda Staunton, who will be portraying Prof. Umbridge, is brilliant. He also updates his fans with his recent music tastes as well as thanks his fans for his most recent gifts.

Thats awesome. I cannot wait for the Order of the Pheonix movie to come out. I hope that the person who is portraying Umbridge does it like the book or the whole movie is ruined. cant wait though!!

I'm glad that Imelda Staunton is "brilliant", because one of my main worries for the film was that the woman playing Unmbridge couldn't deliver, I hope we can take Dan's word for it!....

I'm glad to hear she's doing a great job. She is portraying my favorite character from OotP. Not that I like Umbridge, she's evil, but she is such a great character, she adds so much to the book.

I am so glad to hear his thoughts on Yates and Staunton. As the director is SO important to a film.This one sounds exceptional with actors.
I think Imaulda Staunton is an amazing actress and I am so happy they could get her for this roll,as SHE was the very person I was hoping they would ask.
It is so very kind of Dan to send frequent newsletters to fans ,so we could know what is on his mind and what he is enjoying.
I was expecting a time when he could no longer answer the letters himself because of so many commitments and scheduling,plus the guy needs SOME time just for himself.
I do hope he can continue to write the newsletters"himself" even if someone else has to send them to fans.

I think David yates will do very good at directing the 5th Harry Potter film. The actors of the film seem to think so atleast. I can't wait how Stauton portrays Umbridge. That should be a awesome to see.

Dan out of the entire cast of the HP is the one who takes his fans serious, he is so dedicated to them and I am glad he is doing that, thank to Dan we have bits of what is going on in the set, thank DAN! you are the best.
