Daniel Radcliffe sent out a new newsletter
to fans recently and mentioned that Harry Potter director David Yates is fantastic and that actress Imelda Staunton, who will be portraying Prof. Umbridge, is brilliant. He also updates his fans with his recent music tastes as well as thanks his fans for his most recent gifts.

I'm glad to hear that Staunton is "brilliant" and I hope he means her acting and not just her. I think Umbridge is the most highly anticipated character for OotP, and she could make or break the film. Whoopee!

Well, that is great then! I'm still not sure about Staunton, because that isn't how I invisioned Umbridge, (it was more like the drawing at the beginning of the chapter), but I'm sure through Movie Magic it will all come together!
So sad Dan won't be answering his fanmail personally anymore. Happy that I wrote him before there was too much volume, and actually got a personal letter from him!
